We tend to forget various action, talent, critical, insanity, disease effects. It would be nice to have a seperate window (or maybe in the combat tracker) where we can have an overview of all effects that are active.
My initial thoughts would be to add a second tab to the initiative tracker, which would list any effects that apply to any Characters/NPCs within the encounter. Players would see only effects for their character(s) while the GM would see effects for everyone.
I could also add some check-boxes so you could filter what is displayed. E.g. If you don't want to see diseases, un-check the box to hide them from the list.
